adequate stay with some issues
small parking area offensive air freshener
The parking area was too small. Maneuvering seemed like a strategic game. blackout blinds should be a standard amenity. The room had a plug-in air freshener I found rather offensive. It seemed to MASK something. A more subtle approach would be better i THINK.

pleasant stay
friendly staff separate entrance
The staff was very friendly upon check in and provided information about the available facilities. the room was super clean and cozy, and i enjoyed having a separate entrance. the pub food was excellent. I liked it a lot.
i booked a budget room. i thought it had two small single beds but it had a fan from the kitchen near the room. the fan is a huge industrial unit that vibrates the wall and is very noisy.

charmed stay
generous tray sensible rack practical area
The room had independent access directly from the car park. The tea and coffee tray provided was generous. Mugs were larger and nicer than usual (charmed!). A sensible hanging rack accommodated wet coats. There was also a practical large area inside the door for removing boots.
The small room i stayed in had three sloped ceilings. This posed a challenge as i hit my head several times. It would be better without a sloped ceiling.

The hotel provides good parking . It is also conveniently close to various tourist spots. Access to nearby attractions is straightforward, great for easy exploration of the surrounding area.

The hotel offers a nice decked beer garden . The rooms have good temperature control. The shower was easy to operate, and temperature adjustments were simple and effective.

Breakfast choices provided many options. The pub below the rooms is really friendly. The food was very good with a fine selection of beers available (the roast beef was amazing!).
